Neketta is a dedicated and supportive parent of 3 amazing children: Nikolas (College Football Coach), Nakobe (Professional Football Player in the NFL), and Brooklyn (a senior mortuary science major at Southern Illinois University).  As a single mother, Neketta has always played a vital role in her each of her children’s life by providing physical, mental, emotional and financial support to them while managing the demands and pressures of life they encounter as they journey towards success.

With three children who were active in sports at early ages, Neketta has always advocated for player safety and education. However, her greatest cause has always been giving back to the community and inspiring others, which she instilled and heavily involved her children in at early ages.
Neketta’s believes that giving back to others is something that should be shared for a lifetime.

Neketta is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Kind Hearts 4 Lyfe, which is her son’s Nakobe’s non-profit organization. Kind Hearts 4 Lyfe provides community outreach programs and services that support, assist and positively impact the lives of people of all ages.

Additionally, Neketta is also the owner of D- Solutions Consulting, where she develops, creates and implements solution base strategies that allow business and organizations to operate at higher levels of maximum efficiency.

Neketta is a native of Mississippi and a Gulf war army Veteran. She has a Master degree in Social work with a dual concentration in administration and counseling from University of TN. She’s also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Neketta worked in Tunica County for 20 years before where she served as the Director of Community Affairs & Public Relations for Tunica County government and the Associate Director of Internal Affairs for the Tunica County sheriff’s department.
